Description

This poster was made for the promotion of the yearly kaasfondue (cheese fondue) organised by my study association. During that event approx 80-90 people enjoy themselves dipping bread in molten cheese while the organisation (=the board (= me + 5 other people in this case) runs around chaoticly trying to make sure everyting goes well.

I used illustrator (CS1) and a photo for reference (see link). The photo was made at last years event and i really liked it

with the poster I wanted to have al really vertical look of stringy cheese. Also I spent a lot of time working out how to arrange the text since I didn't want too much text (also I didn't want too much dubble tekst, since it should be in two languages) I'm quite happy with how that turned out.
I also incorporated the logo of the association in the picture and at the botom next to the sponsors.

I think the poster is really cool! The cheese is very cheesey.. And I like the background, it looks good with the color of the cheese...

Really nice design. Everything flows pretty well. The only crit I have is that the "kaasfondue" text on the left side should be readable going vertical instead of the viewer having to turn their head to read it.

Hey there,
I see that you are very talented at Illustrator. That being said, I was wondering if you had any pointers for me. I'm pretty familiar with vectors now but, I am drawing a blank on how to deal with this logo. My friend needs me to vectorize it so I can blow it up... so he can get it tattooed on his shoulder. Here's the picture:
